Coman's Second-Half Goal Proves Decisive
Bayern Munich won their sixth Champions League title with a 1-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the final on Sunday. Kingsley Coman scored the only goal of the game in the 59th minute, heading home a cross from Joshua Kimmich.
PSG were the better team for much of the first half, but Bayern gradually took control of the game after the break. The German champions had several chances to score before Coman finally broke the deadlock.
The victory was Bayern's first Champions League title since 2013. It was also their second treble under coach Hansi Flick, who has now won the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal, and Champions League in his first season in charge.
PSG were left to rue their missed chances, but they can still be proud of their performance in this season's Champions League. They reached the final for the first time in their history and pushed Bayern all the way.
