There was nothing but love for Miikka Kiprusoff as the Calgary Flames retired his No. 34 to the rafters in a pre-game ceremony prior to playing the Pittsburgh Penguins at Scotiabank Saddledome on Saturday.
A Jersey Retirement Ceremony Filled with Heart
Calgary Flames legend Miikka Kiprusoff was honoured ahead of the team's game against the Penguins with a heartfelt jersey retirement ceremony. Kiprusoff is now the fourth player in team history to have his jersey number retired, joining Lanny McDonald, Jarome Iginla, and fellow goaltender Mike Vernon.
