PSG Reaches Champions League Semifinals with Comeback Win over Barcelona

Mbappe's Brace Secures 6-4 Aggregate Triumph

Paris Saint-Germain overcame a one-goal deficit to defeat Barcelona 4-1 in the second leg of their Champions League quarterfinal clash, advancing 6-4 on aggregate to the semifinals. Kylian Mbappé played a starring role, scoring twice for the French giants.

First-Leg Reversal

Trailing 1-4 from the first leg at home, PSG needed an impressive performance to overturn the deficit. They received a boost when Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet was sent off in the 30th minute, but still faced an uphill battle.

Mbappé broke the deadlock in the 49th minute from the penalty spot, and eventually extended PSG's lead with a brilliant solo effort in the 65th minute. Moise Kean and Ander Herrera added further goals to secure the victory and send PSG into the final four.

Mbappe's Impressive Form

Mbappe's brace against Barcelona continued his impressive form in the Champions League. The French forward has now scored 10 goals in nine appearances in the competition this season, including a hat-trick against Barcelona in the group stage.

Mbappé's performances have been instrumental in PSG's success in Europe. With the club aiming for their first Champions League title, the 22-year-old will be crucial to their hopes of achieving that goal.
