Cunningham Returns to Big Blue
The New York Giants have re-signed offensive tackle Korey Cunningham to a one-year contract, the team announced on Tuesday.
Cunningham, 24, spent the 2021 season on the Giants' practice squad after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent out of Cincinnati. He appeared in one game for the Giants last year and was inactive for the other 16.
The 6-foot-6, 311-pound Cunningham is expected to compete for a reserve role on the Giants' offensive line in 2023. He will join a unit that is led by Pro Bowl left tackle Andrew Thomas and also includes Nate Solder, Ben Bredesen, and Josh Ezeudu.
